Dr. Powell is a Board Certified surgeon with twenty years of experience and thousands of surgical cases under his belt. He is dedicated to providing state of the art cosmetic care, in a safe and non-threatening manner, and at a fair and reasonable price. Dr. Powell has created a team approach at The Cardiff Medical Spa where the estheticians coordinate each client's ongoing care. His goal is to improve each individual's self esteem and self image by enhancing their existing beauty.

Mary Roberts

Mary Roberts is a highly skilled and experienced operating room nurse who partnered with Dr. Powell to create The Cardiff Medical Spa. Mary moved to the San Diego area from Virginia in 2003 and expanded her expertise into esthetic laser care. She is certified by Lumenis in the use of the diode Lightsheer laser and Quantum IPL to perform laser hair removal and photofacials and by Iridex to use the Varilite laser to remove cheery angiomas, spider veins, and broken capillaries. Mary's clients are treated to state of the art laser care matched with the caring, personal touch of a highly qualified nurse.


Deborah Bennett

Deborah Bennett is the owner of Future Faces Skin Care located in The Cardiff Medical Spa. She is a licensed esthetician with over 20 years experience in the beauty field. She has advanced training in anti-aging, microdermabrasion, myotonology, and permanent make-up. Deborah loves using her make-up artist and esthetic skills to bring out the young, healthy, and radiant beauty of each of her clients. Deborah takes special pride in creating the perfect look for new brides and their bridal party on that special wedding day.

Jennifer Nagel

Jennifer Nagel loves being a medical esthetician.  She has five years experience doing massage, esthetics, and medical esthetics in day spas, medical spas, and on a cruise ship. Jen has advanced training in microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and myotonology. Jen gets excited about creating individualized skin care programs that address the specific needs of each of her clients. She has a special interest in
Rosacea. Jennifer really enjoys pampering and “going the extra mile” with her clients to achieve the results they desire in the comfortable, safe, and relaxing environment of The Cardiff Medical Spa.

Brittany Blain

Brittany Blain is a knowledgeable and resourceful esthetician passion for helping people achieves their skincare goals.  She embraces honesty, optimism and humor. She is dedicated to educating her clients …listening, assessing, creating skin care plan. She is proficient in chemical peels, waxing, Myotonology, microdermabrasion, massage and high frequency.
Other interests include holistic health, Pilates, cooking, art, music, humor/laughing, traveling.
